Baaz Welding & Fabrication ("Baaz Welding", "we", "us") runs baazwelding.com. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Quote requests: when you send the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email (if given), location, a description of the job and any photos you attach.
- Calls and WhatsApp: if you tap the Call or WhatsApp buttons, your phone or WhatsApp app opens and the conversation happens on that service, not on our website.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our server keeps short-term logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, give you a price and do the work you ask for.
- To keep records of jobs and quotes for our business and tax purposes.
- To measure which of our ads bring in enquiries (see below).
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google Ads conversion tracking. When you arrive from one of our ads and then call, message us on WhatsApp or send the quote form, Google may set a cookie so we can count that the ad worked. This does not give us your name or contact details. You can control ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings and learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How we protect and keep your information
Your information is stored on a secured server in Canada or the United States and is only accessed by Baaz Welding staff who need it to handle your job. We keep quote requests for as long as needed for the job and our business records, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to us contacting you. Just call or message us using the details below. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
